This area has a lot of historical forts including the legendary Raigad fort. Apart from nature and history, travellers come here for pilgrimages like Pali, Harihareshwar, Lote Parshuram, Birla Temple, etc.
This Fort is located in Pali. Pali as well is well known for one of the Ashtavinayak’s called Shri. Ballaleshwar. It’s around 40kms from Roha. This Fort is also called Bhorapgad. It is a hill Fort. There is a temple, lake, eco points etc in and around the Fort. It is away from Mumbai 100 km. it height is about 2030.
Surgad it is located almost in Roha. It's nearest station is Kolad. The neareast bus stop is Khamb, a small village on the Roha - Kolad road. it was conquered by Senior Bajirao Peshwa. There is a good motorable road from village Khamb to Ghera Surgad. The distance is about 4 km. It passes through village Vaijanath. The Fort is accessible from the northern side as well as western side. It takes about 1 hr to reach the top of the Fort.

This Fort is situated near pengalsai about 5 km away from Roha. It 150 km from Mumbai. Nearest station is Roha. Its height is about 977 feet. This first is also known to have been reconstructed by Shivaji Maharaj.There are three routes to reach the Fort. One route starts from the village Padam - Kharapti, Other route starts from the village Pingalsi, it take 2 hours to reach the Fort and the other route is from village Medha, which takes about 1hr. to reach the Fort top.
Talagad is located in Indapur about 18 km. It was also conquered by Shivaji Maharaj. There is Veer Maruthi Temple inside this Fort. This is around 25kms from Roha.
